CourtBook ("we," "our," or "the app") is a basketball stat tracking application built for coaches. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Local data: All team rosters, game stats, and settings are stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. We do not transmit this data to our servers. Clearing your browser data may permanently delete this information.
Google account information: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a temporary access token. This is used solely to identify your account for Pro subscription verification and to enable cloud sync via Google Drive. We do not store your Google password.
Google Drive data: If you are a Pro subscriber and use cloud sync, your CourtBook data is saved to a file in your own Google Drive. We access only the files that CourtBook creates. We use the limited drive.file scope, which restricts access to only files created by CourtBook. We do not read, modify, or access any other files in your Drive.
Payment information: If you purchase CourtBook Pro, payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive, store, or have access to your credit card number or payment details. Stripe may collect information as described in their privacy policy.
We use your Google email address to check your Pro subscription status with Stripe. We use your Google Drive access to sync your CourtBook data across devices if you choose to enable cloud sync. That is it.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your data is shared only with the following service providers as necessary to operate the app: Stripe for payment processing, and Google for authentication and cloud sync (only if you sign in).
Your stat data lives on your device and in your Google Drive (if you enable sync). We do not maintain a separate database of your information. If you delete the app data from your browser or your Google Drive file, it is gone permanently.
CourtBook does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels. We do not track your usage behavior.
CourtBook is designed for use by coaches (adults). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player names entered into the app are stored only on the coach's local device and are not transmitted to us.
You can delete all your CourtBook data at any time by clearing your browser localStorage for courtbook.net. If you have cloud sync enabled, you can delete the CourtBook file from your Google Drive. You can revoke CourtBook access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
