Delete Your CourtBook Account & Data
For the CourtBook app on Google Play and at courtbook.net
You can delete your CourtBook data at any time, either yourself in the app or by sending us a request below.
Delete it yourself in the app
- Open CourtBook and go to the Manage tab.
- Scroll to Delete My Data and tap Delete my CourtBook data.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
This permanently deletes, for the signed-in Google account:
- All teams, rosters, games, stats, Play Creator plays and settings stored on that device
- Your CourtBook files in your Google Drive (
courtbook_sync.json and courtbook_plays.json)
- CourtBook's access to your Google account
If you use CourtBook on more than one device without signing in, repeat this on each device. Deleting your data does not cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it first with Manage Subscription on courtbook.net if you don't want to be billed again.
Ask us to delete it
If you can't use the app, send a request with the email address you used to sign in. We'll delete what we hold, explain how to remove anything stored in your own Google Drive, and confirm by email.
You can also email support@courtbook.net with the subject "Delete my CourtBook account".
What is deleted and what is kept
- Deleted: your teams, games, plays and settings; your CourtBook files in your Google Drive; support emails from you.
- Kept: if you ever paid for Pro, Stripe (our payment processor) keeps billing and transaction records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. We can't delete those records, but they're used only for billing.
- Live Share: live game sessions are deleted when the coach ends them. If you left one open, include that in your request and we'll remove it.
- Analytics: website usage statistics are collected without your name or email and expire under Google Analytics' and Vercel's retention settings.
See our Privacy Policy for full details.
